~Day 17~

Well, I am going to start by saying this post will be short and sweet. I am feeling terrible today. I am in a whole lot of pain {which kept me up most of last night} and I feel like I may be coming down with whatever is going around at work. Anyway, today I am thankful for our veterans. Serving our country the way they do is not for the faint of heart. These individuals are so courageous and loyal. My late Uncle Rusty {Russell O. Pettiford} was a veteran. He passed away in August of this year. I am thinking of him today and remembering his smile and laugh. I love you, Uncle Rusty.
